About Mary
Mary is originally from Kerry and is now living in Carrigaline with her husband and two young children. In 2009, Mary made a career change from working as a busy Sales Executive to becoming a Nutritional Consultant in the Cork area. Mary has always had a keen interest in Nutrition and Health and left her sales career to follow her passion.
Mary recognises how important it is to eat well, as nutrition is the foundation of our health and even if we have to use conventional medicine, we can still use the nutritional recommendations to keep us as healthy as possible. Good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle will help balance our busy lives.

Mary has completed many health courses over the years including aromatherapy, reiki, kinesiology and homeopathy. She holds a FETAC Level 6 Certificate in Nutrition and Health and a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health (www.iinh.net).
Mary has also completed a Certificate in Training and Development from the Irish Institute of Training and Development which she has found very beneficial in helping her put her Nutrition and Health talks together for training groups of people in her Corporate Nutrition work. Mary also worked as a Director Studies with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (www.naturopathy.ie) in 2010/2011 but resigned from this position as her own practice started to really take off. Mary also organised Patrick Holford’s( Leading Nutritionist & Psychologist in the UK www.patrickholford.com) ” Feel Good Factor Tour ” to Cork in March 2011. Mary is at the moment organising his next Tour for May 2012 and details about this will be on her website shortly. Mary regularly contributes to Nutrition topics on Cork’s Red FM and also The Irish Examiner’s Feel Good weekly health suppplement.
Another area that Mary is very passionate about is whole area of lifestyle changing, to improve people’s health, emotionally & physically, for the better. She has also completed a Business Practitioner Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and uses these skills during her consultations to help people move to a healthier lifestyle.

Mary is a member of the Nutritional Therapists of Ireland (www.ntoi.ie). Her area of expertise lies in children’s health, fertility, women’s health, weight loss, stress and lifestyle balancing.
Mary has good people skills, is a great motivator and connects well with people. This allows her to understand her clients on an individual basis and help them make gradual changes in their diets and lifestyles. Everyone can create new habits and achieve the desired result to maintain health for a lifetime.
